Vizacc HelpMaker is a free Windows help authoring tool that lets you design and publish professional help systems without coding. Its WYSIWYG editor makes it easy to create and organize topics, build a table of contents and index, insert images and hotspots, and add cross-references. From a single project, you can generate Microsoft HTML Help (CHM), legacy WinHelp (HLP), browser-based HTML help, and a printable manual (RTF/Word). So I thought 7.4 would be lovely. However, it wasn't a great success. When you run it, a message box pops up to tell you, "This is beta software. It will expire on the 30th March 2009." It's 2017 now.
There are three buttons. OK (closes program), Enter Key and Buy Now!. The web site's down so we can't buy and if I can't buy or get an evaluation license there's no option other than uninstall.
I tried setting the system clock back to 2008 but it spotted that!!
If you want to walk away from your software, then please make it freeware.
